Venom’s Enemies and Venom 2 Character Details Confirmed

The trailer of Venom: Let There Be Carnage introduced a lot of interesting details!

The sequel to Spider-Man’s famous villain Venom has released an official trailer titled Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The fact that the upcoming blockbuster of the Sony family has such a name is true to what viewers had predicted before, when Carnage/Cletus Kasady appeared from the post-credits in the first movie.

The trailer has officially confirmed a few theories about the cast of characters in the movie, creating excitement from viewers ahead of the release date. Here, let’s go through such details together.

  1. Cletus Kasady Becomes Eddie Brock’s Opponent

After Carlton Drake and Riot, Sony quickly introduced another villain, Cletus Kasady, the host of Carnage right from the post-credits section of Venom. Coming to the last trailer, this crazy criminal was officially confirmed to become a counterweight for the duo Eddie Brock and Venom.

Cletus Kasady will be played by actor Woody Harrelson. Viewers got an early look at how Cletus Kasady and Carnage symbiotically interact with each other through the trailer, thereby becoming a threat that Eddie must confront.

  1. Shriek will also appear as the villain

Frances Barrison/Shriek will also star in Venom: Let There Be Carnage, played by actress Naomie Harris. According to the original, Shriek is a mutant with abilities including generating sound waves, controlling other people’s brains, and telepathy. In addition, Shriek in the comics is also Cletus Kasady’s mistress. She was supposed to appear as the second villain alongside Cletus.

  1. Anne Weying is back

Michelle Williams’ character will return in Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Eddie’s ex-girlfriend helped him a lot in the last event and promises to do the same. Both Anne and Eddie are now good friends, and her return to reprise her role comes as no surprise.

  1. Dan Lewis

Anne’s current fiance Dan Lewis will also appear in this film. Some viewers commented that Dan was killed by Carnage, but others hoped he would survive the upcoming film. Dan Lewis has been quite supportive of Eddie before and may have become his friend with Venom.

  1. Carnage will symbiotically with Cletus Kasady

As mentioned above, Cletus Kasady will symbiosis with Carnage, a Symbiote to create a dangerous and bloodthirsty duo. It is not known whether the origin of Carnage in the film is the same as the original, but it is highly likely that this Symbiote will appear at Cletus Kasady’s execution. Carnage will penetrate his veins to create a powerful and equally brutal villain.

  1. Eddie Brock and Venom duo become main stars

Eddie Brock and Venom now promise to shine even more in Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The trailer has partly shown viewers the scene where the character of Tom Hardy and this Symbiote after the events of the first part are living in harmony with each other, creating many funny moments. In the near future, this duo will enter another fierce battle called Cletus Kasady / Carnage.
