Godzilla has always been seen as an extremely dangerous threat.

Godzilla vs. Kong, after a period of release, has proved a huge attraction to global viewers in early 2021, with the focus on the great war between Godzilla and Kong. The movie also features a mechanical beast named MechaGodzilla, causing much trouble for both kings.

Even so, it’s undeniable that Godzilla’s overwhelming power in the MonsterVerse movie universe. Unlike Kong, Godzilla in the eyes of everyone is always considered an extremely dangerous threat. Here, let’s take a look at 10 reasons why Godzilla is so powerful!

10. Ability to work under water

Most monsters can only operate in terrestrial or underwater environments, but that was not a problem for Godzilla. In Godzilla vs. Kong, Godzilla pushed Kong into the water, thereby creating a huge advantage when this is the weakness of the “Gorilla King”.

Godzilla could still breathe, move easily, and completely overwhelm Kong in the water. This monster can stay underwater for a long time, making it difficult to get into sight.

  1. Atomic breath

It is indeed impossible not to mention the technique associated with the name Godzilla, the atomic breath. Hidden within is a source of energy with a tremendous destructive power, allowing Godzilla to easily make any opponent to be wary.

Godzilla’s atomic breath in Godzilla vs. Godzilla. Kong is strong enough to penetrate the hollow earth. MechaGodzilla is the only name that possesses the same power, even defeating the “King of the Beast” in a duel between two atomic breaths.

  1. Endurance

Godzilla was able to survive a nuclear test in the southern Pacific in the 1950s in the first Godzilla movie. Even this monster can withstand all 15 tons of hydrogen bombs, Castle Bravo.

In the movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters, King-Ghidorah’s gravity beam can seriously injure Rodan’s body and kill Mothra, but it is nothing compared to Godzilla. Even when stabbed by Kong’s ax, Godzilla was able to fight without feeling any pain.

  1. The special tail

Godzilla’s tail is both flexible and powerful enough to knock an opponent far away. Plus it’s crushing and pulling them. In Godzilla vs. Kong, Godzilla himself used his tail to drag Kong into the water.

Even if his arms and legs were injured, Godzilla still had another effective weapon that was the tail of the “Beast King”.

  1. The ability to symbiosis

Another godly ability of Godzilla is in symbiosis with many other monsters. In the movie Godzilla: King Of The Monsters, “King of the Beast” was combined with Mothra, thereby releasing radioactive shock in combat.

With this shock, Godzilla was able to increase its temperature and melt objects around it. Godzilla also burned a part of King-Ghidorah’s body. This is an ability that Kong and many other monsters cannot have.

  1. Speed

Although not so superior, Godzilla over time also possessed a respectable movement speed. Especially in aquatic environments, when the “King of the Beast” can travel 69 miles per hour.

In the first movie, Godzilla was fast enough to catch the male MUTO and take it down from the air. With his speed, Godzilla is able to keep up with fierce opponents like King-Ghidorah and even Kong.

  1. Pure strength

In terms of pure strength, Godzilla was still too strong a name. Currently, MonsterVerse only correctly recognized MechaGodzilla as the only name that really overwhelmed Godzilla in the duel.

With his power, Godzilla was able to kill a MUTO with just the tail, give Kong a punch on the face and only need one hit to pierce King-Ghidorah’s chest.

  1. Sensory acumen

Godzilla possesses very good sensory abilities, especially hearing when he can use it to hear MUTO’s calls to each other, thereby detecting the position. Vision allowed the “King of the Beast” to see the King-Ghidorah presence within MechaGodzilla.

Godzilla could then easily dodge any surprise attacks from monsters and humans.

  1. Sharp teeth and dorsal fin

Godzilla’s sharp teeth made it possible for this beast to cut through any object. In addition, the dorsal fin is equally sharp, enough to cause damage to the opponent’s body.

  1. Intellectual

In the end, Godzilla’s intelligence was greatly appreciated compared to the rest of the beasts. During the match against MUTO, Godzilla came up with a way to win by drawing them closer. Godzilla also knows how to take advantage of the underwater strength that is the weakness of Kong or King-Ghidorah to bring the game to his side.

Godzilla also energized Kong’s ax with atomic breath to finish off MechaGodzilla. Indeed, compared to other beasts, Godzilla always had his thoughts before fighting.
