In these mysterious disappearances, victims seem to “evaporate” from the ground and leave no clues.

Because of the mysterious nature of the disappearances without trace, many people have come up with conspiracy theories about another dimension. Did they “teleport” to a parallel world, or upside down dimension like “Upside Down” in Stranger Things? Many mysterious and fascinating theories have been put forward, but still no satisfactory answer has been provided.

  1. Damian McKenzie

In the book Missing 411, author David Paulides tells about the mysterious case of Damian McKenzie. McKenzie was a 10-year-old boy who went missing in 1974 while camping at Victoria Falls with a total of 40 students. The group was walking to the top of the falls when they realized Damian was gone.

According to other children on the same camping trip, the search party followed Damian’s footprints along one side of the falls, but the footprints mysteriously stopped, as if Damian had evaporated from the ground. Investigators also found no suspicious objects near the area; Even police dogs can’t find any clues.

Damian was never found alive or dead, all he left was only half a footprint on the ground.

  1. Brandon Swanson

Brandon Swanson was a 19-year-old college student in Minnesota who went missing in May 2008. At the time, Brandon was on his way home and accidentally drove his car into a ditch. He called his parents and asked them to come pick him up.

Brandon said he was on the road near a town called Lynd, and he was going to walk towards that town, where his parents could pick him up. However, when Brandon’s parents arrived at Lynd, they saw no sign of their son or the car. The vehicle was found in Taunton, MN, far from the town of Lynd.

Brandon continued to talk on the phone with his father for about 45 minutes as his parents tried to locate him, when suddenly he panicked and exclaimed, “Oh my god!” and the phone is disconnected.

Authorities believe Brandon fell into a nearby river, but when his parents called, Brandon’s phone was still ringing, which would not have happened if the phone had been submerged in water. Those calls went unanswered, and Brandon has been completely missing since.

  1. Amelia Earhart

More than 80 years after Amelia Earhart disappeared during a round-the-world flight, historians and explorers are still trying to solve this mystery. Earhart was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She and co-pilot Fred Noonan began making the first round-the-world flight in 1937.

The pair took off from a deserted island in the Pacific Ocean, flew more than 22,000 miles and completed two-thirds of their historic flight, before the plane suddenly ran out of fuel. They disappeared somewhere over the Pacific Ocean on July 2, 1937; Rescuers tried to search but never found the couple’s whereabouts.

In 1939, with little progress in the investigation, Earhart was officially declared dead by court order. To this day, the fate of Amelia Earhart remains a question mark, even considered by Time magazine as one of the most mysterious disappearances in the world.

  1. Marvin Clark

A witness saw Clark in a black suit at the Portland bus stop, but two Washington hotels reported he stayed at their places on November 2 and 3, Clark’s wife received bizarre postcards. heck, in which he wrote that he had “disconnected” from reality.

The case sunk until nearly 60 years later, in 1986, a human skeleton was found in the Oregon woods, along with it a silver coin dating from 1888 and 1919. An A.38 gun. Revolver and shell casings were found next to the body. Clark’s descendants have also disappeared without a trace, so no one has been able to match the DNA with this skeleton, but many theories suspect this is his body. However, what happened to Clark is still a mystery.
